About me
Trained as a physicist in Dortmund and Eindhoven, Kurt always wanted to understand how things work. In IT, this meant using and contributing to Open Source. He initially applied this to the Linux Kernel. The fascination for technology was complemented by the thrill to work with and later lead great international teams and the mission to keep IT free.
He applied this in contributor and later leadership positions in SUSE and T-Sytems (OTC). He recently lead the Sovereign Cloud Stack (SCS) project.
